Jimmy Barret

Jimmy Barret - 8:00 pm
Jimmy burst onto the Nashville scene with catchy, well-crafted songs and a truly original voice. He is currently finishing a record by Grammy-winning producer Jay Joyce that combines a little a bit of everything into a dynamic & fresh new sound. A Notre Dame grad with good roots (he’s a descendant of Texas hero William Barret Travis), his live shows are equally engaging. Atlanta’s Creative Loafing notes, “He’s a troubadour that blends it all together at the bumpy crossroads of slick Nashville and gritty Austin.” This past year’s shows have included openers for LeAnn Rimes & Gretchen Wilson, in addition to playing a private AEG party for Justin Timberlake on his Nashville stop. Jimmy has the rare gift of crossing over without losing authenticity.

Ashlee Page

Ashlee Page - 8:30 pm
Beautiful, Genuine and Blessed with a very Identifiable voice. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, twenty-one year old Ashlee Page is a junior at Belmont University in Nashville. At the same time, she’s honing her singing and live performance skills at intimate cafes and popular Nashville clubs. Vocally expressive and appealing on stage and in the recording studio, Ashlee is also translating her feelings, instinctive observations and ideas into edgy, positive, country songs with the encouragement, guidance and mentoring of respected Nashville songwriters.

King Billy

King Billy - 9:00 pm
King Billy is greater than the sum of its parts. Once a unit coagulates it needs a mentor and means. Enter Trey Bruce, a writer and producer of Trace Adkins, Rebecca Lynn Howard & Trick Pony. Albeit a diamond in the rough, Trey saw the shiny parts below the layers of coal and signed Kingbilly to BillyClub/Chrysalis Music Publishing. He has coached their writing, their performance and band cohesion since that time. Which has resulted in them record the first 20 or so songs. The sound is more pro but hardly slick. The members of this rawkin’ band are Donny Fallgatter, Kevin Weaver, Charlie Worsham, Josh Matheny, Matt Utterback and John Osborne. With everyone under 25 you can imagine the raucous outlook on lives lived that is reflected in their distinct brand of rockin’ country reaching out to the guys and girls side of things. King Billy are next in line for great things on the local music scene. www.myspace.com/kingbillyband

She has been singing since she was four years old and actively pursuing a career in country music for the past two. “I love country music because it always tells a story,” Chelsea said, “good or bad!” “I’ve been writing a lot with some wonderful writers,” she said. Chelsea has recently been recording some of those songs for a new project. She writes about real life successes and heartbreak, and performs those songs with compelling candor and a seemingly unlimited vocal range. She has become a regular opening act for such well-known artists as Big & Rich, Jason Aldean. Keith Anderson, Billy Currington, Dierks Bentley, Tracy Byrd, and Miranda Lambert, to name a few. Hear Chelsea Sunday nights at 7pm on 103 WKDF’s Locals Only show.
