Rachel is a staff writer at Murrah Music and wrote “Good Directions” for Billy Currington (3 weeks at #1). “Good Directions” earned Rachel and her co-writer Luke Bryan the NSAI award “One of the Ten Songs I Wish I’d Written” for 2007. Buzz Cason

Buzz Cason - 8:30 pm
With the distinction of being the only known songwriter to have songs recorded by the Beatles, U2, Pearl Jam, Gloria Estefan and Jimmy Buffett, Nashville native Buzz Cason has enjoyed long lasting success. His song “Everlasting Love,” co-written with Mac Gayden, has received over 6 million radio airplay. His Palo Duro Records debut, “Hats Off To Hank,” released in Spring of ’08, charted in the top 20 in the Americana Music chart and can be heard on over 70 U.S. radio stations as well as XM and Sirius Satellite station. He is now touring as a soloist as well as with his band The Love Notes. Appearances include Larry Joe Taylor’s Texas Music Festival and the upcoming Chattahippie Music Festival.

Amanda Martin

Amanda Martin - 9:00 pm
To Amanda Martin, singing is like breathing. Born and raised in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York, she spent her early life listening to her parents perform the best of Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and Ernest Tubb in the honky tonks of the North Country. Amanda’s first musical expression rang true to the traditional roots of country music when joined her parents onstage to sing Ricky Skaggs’ hit song “Honey.” Amanda established a love for the guitar and spent her high school years playing and singing any chance she could. Less than two months after she graduated, Amanda left the mountains of New York for the hills of Tennessee where she enrolled in the Music Business program at Belmont University. Astonishingly, while attending her sophomore year in November of 2000, Amanda was awarded the opportunity to perform live with Vince Gill after winning a college-wide search for the best vocalist referred to as “The Best of Belmont.”

TJ Osborne

TJ Osborne - 9:30 pm
At first glance, it would seem that TJ Osborne is not that different from anyone else you might run into on the streets of Nashville. As the story often goes, he was born in a small town into a musical family, and grew up learning to love music, finding a voice along the way. What sets him apart however, is what matters. With a quintessential american voice, TJ tells a story with his own sound, in his own way, leaving no doubt about his sincerity. Drawing from influences old and new, TJ will leave you with a powerful sense of not only who he is, but who you are as well. TJ is currently a writer for Chrysalis Music.

Old Boot Band

Old Boot Band - 10:00 pm
Inspired by the traditional country of Waylon Jennings, J.D. began crafting songs which evoke his classic country influences as well as more contemporary artists such as Alan Jackson. From the beginning, the Boot Bands high-energy live show has captivated audiences with their trademark brand of 90 Proof Country Music. Each member of the band, Ralph Montana (bass), El Pedactor (piano), Chris Silver (guitar, mandolin, lap steel, vocals), and Dan Bauman (guitar, vocals), adds their own unique dimension to the Old Boot Band both on and off the stage.
